MBA Class of 2012 Signs MoU to Establish Class Fund

To support access to a world-class education for talented scholars, the MBA Class of 2012 has signed an MoU with LUMS to establish the MBA Class of 2012 scholarship fund. Exemplifying the transformative impact of alumni in creating lasting change and supporting the next generation of students, this partnership aims to support the studies of undergraduate and MBA scholars at LUMS by providing deserving students with interest-free loans. This class gift will enable these students to access higher education and pursue their aspirations.

The signing ceremony took place in Dubai on April 26, 2024. The signatories included Dr. Ali Cheema, Vice Chancellor, LUMS, and Mr. Abeer Hamid, representative of the MBA Class of 2012. 

Mr. Hamid expressed his enthusiasm for establishing the scholarship fund, stating, "We are deeply inspired by the transformative impact this institution has had on our lives and the lives of countless others. LUMS isn't just a university; it's a catalyst for personal and professional growth, a beacon of excellence that has illuminated our paths and propelled us toward success.
